Inventronics’ Expanded Global Presence Enhances Customer Value
Inventronics is thrilled to announce the significant expansion of our global footprint with our acquisition of Osram Digital Systems. This strategic move is set to enhance the value we provide to our customers by broadening our R&D capabilities and manufacturing reach.
Boosting R&D Capabilities
With the acquisition, we are expanding our design centers globally, augmenting our existing center in Hangzhou, China. We have added a new state-of-the-art R&D center in Garching (Munich), Germany, which will now act as the Business Unit Headquarters for our Digital Systems business. Additionally, we have established a new R&D center in Shenzhen, China, further strengthening our design capabilities in the region.
Inventronics also extends its R&D footprints to Delhi, India, with a new design center. The extensive knowledge and expertise of our new teams will significantly increase our capacity for innovation, ensuring we stay at the forefront of technology and design trends. This not only translates to an increase in innovative products and solutions but also enhances our ability to tailor solutions to the specific needs of our customers.
Expanding Manufacturing Capabilities
To complement our strengthened R&D capabilities, we have significantly broadened our manufacturing reach. We are proud to incorporate the Italy Manufacturing Center in Treviso (Venice) into our portfolio. This center is not just a manufacturing hub, but it also includes an R&D center, ensuring a seamless transition from design to production.
Additionally, we have acquired the Sanmina facility in Bulgaria, a facility built by OSRAM explicitly for driver production, further diversifying our manufacturing capabilities in Europe.
Besides, we have expanded our manufacturing capacity in Tonglu, China; Mumbai, India; and Guadalajara, Mexico. To ensure capacity flexibility and specialty builds, we have established partnerships with Contract Manufacturers (CM). These partnerships will enable us to respond swiftly to fluctuations in demand, ensuring our customers receive their orders on time, every time.
