Inventronics EUM-DT series has been selected as a 2020 Sapphire Award winner in the LED driver category. The Sapphire Awards, hosted by LEDs Magazine was held February 12, 2020 aboard the USS Midway Museum in San Diego, CA.

“We are honored to receive such a prestigious award in the lighting industry. Our EUM-DT series was recognized as an industry innovator with its novel design and ability to provide OEMS with design flexibility, reduced production and logistics costs, as well as simplify procurement and inventory management,” says Peter Resca, Technical Marketing Manager at Inventronics. “We understand our value is to solve the problems customers are faced with in the maturing LED market.  Our EUM family is versatile, convenient and designed for the challenging environments found in industrial applications. We are honored to have received this award and wish to congratulate all others who were selected to win an award as well.”

The EUM-DT series is engineered to ensure optimal performance and provide the ultimate in design flexibility. They are equipped with a next generation platform with a proprietary integrated magnetics design allowing for a small form factor without compromising performance.  This minimized footprint enables them to fit in multiple luminaires while reducing production and logistics costs. They are also UL Class P Listed allowing OEMs to bring their products to market faster.

The EUM-DT series provides five power levels of constant-power, programmable drivers delivering 75, 100, 150, 200 and 200W. By utilizing Inventronics programming software, users can set the output current and dimming levels to meet specific application requirements and stock fewer SKUs.  Dimming controls include isolated 1-5V, 1-10V, PWM and multiple timers to meet IEC and UL standards. This allows the light output to be adjusted when full power of the system is not needed providing reduced energy consumption.

The EUM-DT series are designed to be rugged and reliable with an IP66 and IP67 rating, extruded-metal housing and a proprietary encapsulation process.  Utilizing a novel circuit design, they are still able to maintain an industry-leading surge protection of 6kV (differential mode) and 10kV (common mode) while passing typical hi-pot testing for luminaires without any secondary operation.

The LEDs Magazine Sapphire Awards is in its sixth year and annually acknowledges the finest innovations in the LED and solid-state lighting (SSL) industry.  Each year, a team composed of LEDs Magazine staff, Strategies in Light advisory board members and other colleagues select a shortlist of finalists to recognize for their contributions in producing high-performance, quality engineered components and systems.

The EUM-075SxxxDT, EUM-100SxxxDT, EUM-150SxxxDT, EUM-200SxxxDT and EUM-240SxxxDT are approved to UL, FCC, CE and KS standards. They are ideal for street, tunnel, high mast and bay lighting applications. Production quantities for each series are available now.
